性質 　無色透明油狀液體，呈強堿性，有刺激性氨味，易燃、高毒。微溶于水，與有機溶劑混溶。相對Density0.9103(20/4℃)。Boiling_point255.8℃(分解）。凝固點-2℃。折射率nD(25℃)1.4823。nD(20℃)1.4842。flash_point96℃。
　 用途 　有機合成中間體，可用于制取染料用中間體、橡膠促進劑、硝化纖維漆、殺蟲劑、催化劑、防腐劑、氣相緩蝕劑及燃料抗氧化添加劑等。
　毒性 　 本品高毒。具有較強的滲透性臭氣，因此，較易被發現。小鼠LD50為2g/kg，大鼠LD50為3.49g/kg。二環己胺可經皮膚吸收，引起皮膚過敏和壞疽，蒸汽可引起惡心和麻醉，但不會引起血液中毒。據報道二環己胺可引起癌癥。工作場所空氣中最高容許濃度10mg/m3。生產設備應密閉，防止跑、冒、滴、漏。操作現場強制通風，操作人員戴防護用具。
　包裝儲運 　用鐵桶密閉包裝，凈重150kg。貯存于陰涼、通風、干燥處，隔絕火源，裝卸運輸應按易燃有毒化學品規定貯運。

用于有機合成，也用作殺蟲劑、酸性氣體吸收劑和鋼鐵防銹劑
